Join the Parks & Recreation and Library & Cultural Arts Departments for a Día de los Muertos celebration at Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park. Guests attending this special evening will participate in a cultural and culinary adventure while enjoying the sights, sounds and tastes of this traditional Mexican holiday to celebrate, remember and honor the departed. Ofrendas will be on display at Leo Carrillo’s historic Hacienda to remember Leo, his wife Edith and their daughter, Antoinette’s time at the Ranch.  The bedrooms will showcase unique personal items of the Carrillo family intimately displayed as if they were visiting their ranch for the weekend. After touring the decorated Hacienda and visiting the family’s ofrendas, enjoy a buffet dinner featuring authentic flavors of Mexico. As you savor the tranquil peace of Leo Carrillo’s hacienda by candle light, live entertainers will help bring the spirt of the holiday to life.
